Advice is very important. It can keep you out of trouble, hinder your heart from being broken, or possibly help you to succeed.
I've been given plenty of advice in my time. For instance: my mom tells me to go to bed on Christmas Eve, because if I'm not asleep, Santa won't leave me any presents. You can also get simple advice, like when your starting a fire and someone tells you not to burn yourself (and if you burn yourself after someone just told you not to burn yourself, I'll bet that you'll feel pretty stupid). I've also been given plenty of advice from various movies; like in the movie Elf, when Santa tells Buddy not to eat the gum on the road. Or in the movie Hitch, how Hitch tells this guy how he can get the girl of his dream. And in the movie the Lord of the Rings the Fellowship, Gandalf tells Frodo and Sam to stay off the road, and not to trust anyone. In Star Wars II, when Anakin and Padme are about to leave for Tatooine, Obi-Wan Kanobi tell Anakin to "be careful."
As you can see advice can come in handy in many different forms. So if someone ever gives you advice, don't take it for granted, take it to heart. Now I'm done writting these paragraphs on "advice", so goodbye, and may the force be with you.
